In conjunction with Art Auction 13, LBMA will host an educational 3-session seminar on how to create the art collection you have always wanted. Each session will cover topics essential in starting and maintaining a collection of art that meets your aesthetic and long-term investment ideals. Join museum professionals, gallerists, artists, as well as other art collectors for an insider view on the do’s and don’t of collection artworks in today’s society. Each participant will receive a Collector’s Field Pack with a variety of resources and materials to guide you on your mission.

In the final session of Collector’s Boot Camp, participants will learn how to develop and care for their collection. Participants will learn how to create a long term plan for the purchasing, care, display, and legacy of their collection. Hear from local collectors and museum professionals to find out the lessons they have learned through the years.
Location: Lane Oceanview Gallery at the Long Beach Museum of Art
Purchase options: $10 each session, $25 for all three sessions, or $100 for all 3 sessions + a ticket to Art Auction 13 (regular tickets are $75).
